The Royalist turn, had the foot and artillery in the centre move forward.
The horse did not receive their orders and the die role dictated that they attack closest enemy, which is the Parliamentary horse.
This foot unit, once again did not receive orders, and consequently is attacking the closest enemy. The enemy horse is nearest but the Parliamentary cannon is close too.
The Parliament commander is now just within 12 inches of his closest foot, and can now issue orders directly.
His foot units are now en echelon and advancing.
The Parliament horse have swung to their left to meet the Royalist horse.
I expect some firing and cavalry action to take place next turn.
Onwards... for Parliament!
