I have managed to complete one foot regiment for each of the three nations that will feature in the Imagi-Nations campaign. They all still need flags designing and affixing, but the figures are based in fours on 40 x 40 mm bases and are now flocked.
I also built the six cannon from the two starter boxes, I gave to each to each nation. I went for the 8 pound option rather than 12 pound. I will add the larger calibre at a later date.
Each regiment has 24 figures, one base of each being grenadiers.
I am very pleased with the look so far.
Currently working on the first of six regiments of cavalry.
A box full of reinforcements to add to the two starter box sets. I am going to be busy for quite some time.
I gotta say, I really like the colors, but especially the powder blue dudes. Very tight! This project is sure fun to watch!

Thank you very much Gary, this project has really caught my imagination, lol no pun intended.
DeleteThese are neat... what is it about tricorn hats that always pulls me in?
ReplyDeleteThank you buddy, I agree the tricorn hats do give a great flavour to armies.
Deleteare your 10mm napoleonics on the back burner now? The 28mm are very satisfying to paint.
ReplyDeleteHi Norm, until I get a new bulb for my magnifier, even 28 mm are a bit of a struggle, I will get back to the 10 mm Naps soon though. I have just received some 10 mm buildings from Battlescale as well as some French and Russian cannon in that scale.
DeleteThe Battlescale stuff is lovely. Highly recommend their bridge and the Russian wooden Church.
ReplyDeleteBattlescale models are truly superb, I already have a bunch of 6mm for the ACW, the second order has arrived and it contains 10mm for the Naps, the bridge is included. The church will have to wait for my next order.
